Forbes Names Santa Claus, Indiana to “World’s Top Christmas Destinations” List

What do New York City, Paris, Rome and Santa Claus Indiana all have in common?  They were named by Forbes magazine, one of the world’s leading business magazines, has declared the town of Santa Claus, Indiana, as one of the “World’s Top Christmas Destinations.”

In the article, Forbes magazine claimed Santa Claus, Indiana, “enthusiastically embraces its role, with a wide array of Santa-themed shops and attractions” such as Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, the Santa Claus Museum, Santa’s Candy Castle, and the Santa Claus Post Office.

“We’re very excited to be recognized as one of the world’s top Christmas destinations,” says Spencer County Visitors Bureau Executive Director Melissa Wilkinson. “The town celebrates the season 365 days a year but goes all out during the holidays.”

•    Amsterdam, The Netherlands;
•    Cologne, Germany;
•    Santa Claus, Indiana;

•    Paris, France.

Santa Claus, Indiana, is home to nationally known attractions such as Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari and Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort.

America’s Christmas Hometown: Santa Claus, Indiana, hosts a celebration of family fun on the first three weekends of December.
