Lincoln Farm2012 marks the 50th Anniversary of Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, Indiana's first national park. In honor of this historic event, the National Park Service has a full calendar of celebratory events in Lincoln City, Indiana.

Featured events include: Appearance by Robert Bray, author of Reading with Lincoln, during Lincoln Day on February 19; the 50th Anniversary Celebration: 1962 Days, held July 7-10, will feature a variety of family-friendly events including a classic car show, live music from the sixties and more; a conference featuring National Memorials within the National Parks System will be held in October.

Abraham Lincoln spent 14 formative years in Indiana where he grew from a boy into a young man, and eventually one of our nation's greatest presidents. His Indiana home is where he was introduced to the power of books and the concepts of freedom, justice, hard work and the law.
